Working with private land owners, like minded conservation groups and government agencies, we have protected 1,738 acres of natural habitat.

KELT currently holds conservation easements on 18 parcels and owns 700 acres of land in the towns of Bath, West Bath, Arrowsic, Woolwich, Georgetown, Westport Island, Bowdoinham and Dresden.

  • Our public properties are open and available to all. Groups of 10 or more are requested to contact KELT prior to use.
  • There is no commercial use of the properties.
  • Please no fires, alcoholic beverages, off-road vehicles, camping or littering.
  • Allowances for hunting and dogs vary by preserve. See the individual listings to the left.
