She said she had been unemployed for six years when a job offer at a vernacular station came up.
She decided that even though she had never done something like this, she was going to pass the auditions.

âAs I stood there, I imagined how my grandmother and mother would laugh out loud if they saw me doing this, but I needed to hurry,â she continued.
